Stefano Poli

Executive with more than twenty years of experience in the Space industry spanning both manufacturing and services, Stefano has successfully led diverse teams across technical, business development, regulatory, and strategic departments, driving innovation and growth. A recipient of the SSPI Promise Award in 2009, He holds a Master’s degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome and an Executive MBA with honors from IMD Business School in Lausanne. Currently, he serves as a consultant and advisor to technology companies in the space and maritime sectors, specializing in corporate strategy and the development and execution of strategic initiatives.

Julie Bory

With an academic background combining economics and philosophy, Julia has dedicated her time exploring innovative ideas together with researchers and industry partners. Currently she is steering innovation as Co-Lead at the Enterprise for Society Center (E4S), a dynamic collaboration between the University of Lausanne, IMD, and EPFL.

Raphaël Domjan

The initiator of the project, Raphaël Domjan, aged 42 already has solid experience in the field of organising eco-adventures and in ground-breaking ambitious projects. For example, he has already initiated, supported and achieved the first round the world trip on board of the PlanetSolar. Prior to this, he was already inspired by renewable energy. In particular, he developed the first solar-powered hosting site. Today, Raphaël is an eco-adventurer and a lecturer. Passionate about everything related to aeronautics. Raphaël is a pilot of gliders, planes and helicopters. The mission “SolarStratos” is ambitious and risky but possible that is what Raphaël Domjan, who is driving this eco-adventure, will tell you. He will be the pilot of the plane “SolarStratos” which he will push, together with his team, to its utter limits in order to prove that the renewable energies have incredible capacities and will enable us to preserve our planet.

Frédérique Delahaye 

Frederique Delahaye is a seasoned Managing Director driven by the passion for transforming and growing organizations towards long term performance and positive social and environmental impact. Her fields of expertise are business strategy, business development, new business model implementation and team leadership. 

After an international career in marketing and sales at Nestlé and Nespresso, she’s been leading the growth of different companies in tech and food. After launching 2 start-ups in Switzerland, she’s been for 3 years the CEO of Tekoe, the swiss premium tea company. More recently, her passion for the food system and her willingness to contribute to making it more sustainable, drove her to join Alver, Swiss start-up specialised in democratising microalgae as the most sustainable protein in food. 

Benjamin Weill

Benjamin Weill is a marketing, communications and business development senior executive and trainer. During 15 years, he has held management positions mainly in Broadcast TV, ICT, Telecom, and TV channel distribution for Swiss and European SMEs. Since 2011, he is also Vice-President for Switzerland of the One Drop non-profit organization based in Montreal and created by Guy Laliberté, founder of the Cirque du Soleil. Former Head of Accelerator & Program Manager at University of Lausanne's Entrepreneurship HUB, he advised more than 100 entrepreneurs in the academic ecosystem. Trainer for several entrepreneurship programs such as at UNIL, FIFA/CIES and jury member of the START contest. Benjamin is also an entrepreneur, launched 2 startups and is co-founder of BSM United Experts Sàrl - expertiZ.ch.  

Benjamin holds a BBA from University of Applied Science HES-SO In Geneva, an EDP from Wharton School in Philadelphia and a DAS from EPFL/UNIL in Marketing & Leadership Management. 

Jean-Christophe Vautrin

Seasoned CEO, with experience in the energy sector and green business., having led country operations, commodities trading, project finance and logistics for several global companies, as well as start-ups and scale-ups and turn-arounds in various countries. 

Having moved from oil & gas major companies’ downstream operations to green business and environmental sustainability, JC Vautrin has a profound understanding of the hands-on strategic and tactical levers of change to sustainable business, which so many business and government leaders still lack today. 

His commitment to the environment spans from the business domain, through teaching the next generation of young business leaders at several business schools, to supporting and mentoring numerous startups in several sustainability related incubators and accelerators – Impact Hub Circular Economy Incubator, Mass Challenge, and Sustainable Ocean Alliance. 

His current key focus areas are Oceans, Blue Economy, and developing disruptive methods for area based verification and investment methodology for climate adaptation in coastal areas. 

Jean-Christophe holds a BSc in Economics and Management degree from EDHEC Lille, an MBA from INSEAD, a certificate in Strategy & SustainabilityIESE Business School, as well as in Corporate Sustainability from Bocconi University. 

Jean de Wolff

Jean de Wolff spent over 20 years in technology oriented companies. His domains of expertise range from international sales to management of IT telecom businesses and company organisation. While an executive in large multinational companies, he experienced many of the domestic and international development stages of a corporation. Jean is also an entrepreneur and started several ventures which have been successfully sold. Jean is currently a chairman or board member of several small and medium-sized companies and start-ups. He also acts as a lecturer for institutions like UNIL, RCE, Board Academy and ZHAW and advises entrepreneurs and SMEs for Innosuisse and Innovaud 

Alberto-Giovanni Busetto

Alberto-Giovanni Busetto is a Deep Tech executive and innovator; Group SVP Head of Data & AI of The Adecco Group, member of the AI and Machine Learning Platform of the World Economic Forum and Governing Body Member of the DACH CDO Community of Evanta, a Gartner Company. He has been a member of the Data Protection & AI Task Force of the World Employment Confederation and of the Global Future Council on Data Policy of the World Economic Forum, Global Head of Data Science & AI at Merck Healthcare, Deloitte-Merck Digital Champion and IBM Distinguished Speaker, selected among the top of the Nation's outstanding young engineers by the U.S. National Academy of Engineering for the U.S. Frontiers of Engineering in 2015, and U.S. Big Data Chair of the Japan-America Frontiers of Engineering in 2016. He has been a visiting scientist at the National ICT of Australia, held a tenure-track professorship at the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds a Doctorate with Medal from ETH Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. 

Pierre Erwes

Pierre Erwes is an oceanographer with a subsequent specialization in IT and marketing. He is an entrepreneur who has over thirty-five years of international experience, primarily in the areas of marine bio resources and new technologies. He exercised managerial responsibilities in several companies and international groups. 

He founded BioMarine in 2008, the broker for innovation, international collaborations, and investment in the marine bioresources industry. BioMarine is the largest industry and investment platform dedicated to marine bio resources. Since 2008, it has significantly contributed to the economic development of several regions and countries. 

Since 2009, Pierre Erwes launched the Monaco Blue Initiative, organized 12 international BioMarine conventions, which generated over 600 m€ of deals. He also initiated the blue bioplastic council and in 2020 he initiated Seaweed First, which represents the largest organic seaweed producer’s network. This network will allow the deployment of several key projects including a new Index for organic seaweed production. 

He is also participating to several start up boards. He is an advisor of several international organizations. In Dec 2021, he joined Seventure Partners and the Blue Forward Fund. The fund targets 150 m€. It made its first closing in Jan. 2022.
