We are delighted to announce the triumphant conclusion of the second edition of the ONE CREATION Environmental Innovation Awards 2024, celebrated during a memorable ceremony at Building Bridges 2024 last Tuesday. 

This year’s edition showcased the remarkable achievements of three outstanding companies: 

• Solar Freeze, a Kenyan start-up, proudly took the top position with its innovative solutions to help the local growers. 
• Cotierra, a Swiss-Colombian company, secured second place for their impactful contributions to improving carbon sequestration in tropical soils. 
• Libattion, a Zurich-based company, earned the third position with their impressive energy storage solutions through the use of upcycled lithium batteries. 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, Cleantech Alps and the Swiss-Italian Chamber of Commerce, whose support was instrumental to the success of this edition. Special thanks also go to the Building Bridges team, whose dedication and expertise ensured the seamless execution of the event. 

We would like to pay a special tribute to our esteemed panel of jury members—Monica Dell’Anna, Julia Bory, Raphaël Domjan, Marie-Laure Berthié, Alberto Giovanni Bussetto, Jean-Christophe Vautrin, Benjamin Weill, and Stefano Poli—for their invaluable expertise and thoughtful guidance throughout the selection process.
